Thank you thank you thank you cynthia! I'm starting to get the hang of eating off the land in season but I still feel a little overwhelmed when my produce comes in on Thursday night! Thank you for the bread and butter pickle recipe. I'm going to try it. As for the small zucchini, the Italians really know how to prepare them. Take a heavy saute pan and get it really hot (no oil). Place sliced zucchini in the pan and only turn them over when they are almost burnt! Cook on the other side till done. Remove from the pan and drizzle a good balsamic vinegar over them. The whole plate will be gone in minutes! A sante! Love, Gail
